About EVLT for Varicose Veins
EVLT uses a thin laser fiber, placed inside a refluxing vein under ultrasound guidance, to gently close the vein. Blood naturally reroutes to nearby healthy veins, and the treated vein is reabsorbed over time. Most patients walk the same day and return to light activity within 24–48 hours.
EVLT is a minimally invasive, in-office procedure that uses targeted laser energy to close a damaged vein. Blood is naturally redirected to healthy veins. Most patients walk immediately and resume normal activity within 24–48 hours.
